Recipe: Healthy Breakfast


As you guys might know I am type one diabetic for one year now. I got the diagnosis in May 2013 and after some tough month I started to live my normal life again with some small changes. I started to notice the importance of regular meals for my body and blood sugar. I seriously used to hate breakfast during the week and had to find my own way to start my day right with a healthy one and less sugar. First I tried some healthy options from Attila Hildmanns book „Vegan for Fit“ and really enjoyed his great industrial sugar free recipes. But lately I’ve fallen for another great recipe: sugar free chocolate chia pudding! I discovered the recipe on Vicky Heilers blog „bikinis&passports“ and am totally since then a totallly addicted. Today I wanted to share her creation with you guys:


What you’ll need:
– 15 gr of chia seeds
– 100 ml of hazelnut/rice milk
– 1 pinch of cinnamon
– 1 tsp honey
– 1 tsp organic raw cocoa powder (no sugar added)
– fresh or frozen berries
– almond slivers, toasted hazelnut or shredded coconut (optional)

    sorry for being late answering your question.
    I think with the right platform and topic it is so much fun and easy to set up your own blog.
    Just go for it and see how it goes. I’m using WordPress with a platform and think it’s great,
    it’s not just easy but you can also design your own themes.
    Just choose a topic and the right name and be passionate and everything will be great.
